  Apple’s #ShotOniPhone campaign

Apple is a market leader in consumer electronics, which is no mystery. Apple has consistently introduced intriguing new goods or iterations of their iconic line (such as new iPhones, Macbooks and Apple Watches) (Goodman, 2021).

So how do they entice customers to stay engaged and return for more? Their use of visual marketing to highlight the distinctive qualities of each new product introduction is the key.

Apple promoted the release of the new iPhone 12 Pro using both online and offline promotion in their most recent #ShotOniPhone campaign (Goodman, 2021).

In particular, they used user-generated content to highlight the genius of their new Night Mode camera, using social media posts, billboards, and digital advertisements to display real-world images taken using this new camera feature (Goodman, 2021).

This is one of my favorite campaigns from apple because I am an actual user of this hashtag, but it would be nice have more informationhow the campaign was created and why it has been so successful and change the way to advertise through social media letting the actual customers to promove the products.
